Undo checkout for an individual in a group
Have you made a mistake during checkout, or checked out the wrong group? You can use the undo checkout feature to return the checked-out reservation back to the in-house status. There are two ways to undo the checkout for a group. You can undo checkout for the whole group and this refers to the group master folio and effects the individual group member status. Or, you can undo checkout for the individual reservations attached to the group.
Prerequisites

You cannot undo a checkout if the status is not checked-out.

Be sure to reverse any payments that were made in error.

Undo checkout can only be done on the same day as the checkout.
To undo a checkout for an individual in a group
- From the Home Page, do one of the following to open the seek page to find the group reservation.
Press CTRL+F on your keyboard.
Click the Reservations menu in your top bar and select Search on folio number.

Modify the fields as appropriate.
Search details Number
Add the unique confirmation number of the group reservation.
Name
Enter the last name of the guest, company name or travel agent name.
Days in advance
Enter the number of days to search.
The maximum is 7 days. If 7 days is entered, the system will search 7 days forward from the current day and 7 days back from the current day.
- Click Confirm (
). The group reservation displays.

From the group reservation, select the individual for whom you want to undo the checkout and then click the Undo check out individual (
) icon. A PMS message displays asking to undo the checkout for the individual in the group.
- Do one of the following:
Click Ok to save your changes. The check out status on the individual reservation returns to the in-house status.
Click Cancel to discard your changes.
