Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

As of November 23, 2021, subscription administrators are required to use MFA when logging into MeetingBroker. This extra step of security helps confirm that it's really you logging in—and not a nefarious hacker.

MFA login experience

When MFA is enabled, you will enter your user name and password as usual. After you click Login, you'll see a new prompt to enter a one time password (OTP) that was sent to your email address.

Copy the code from the email message, paste it into the OTP field, and then click Verify OTP.

A window will then display where you can enter your mobile phone number if you prefer to receive your code on your phone as a text message.

Make sure you understand your mobile phone plan and whether or not you are charged a fee for text messages. After you save your mobile phone number, you can select to receive your code by email instead when logging in. If you want to remove your phone number, you'll need to email support.

When entering your phone number, make sure you provide the Country Code in the first field. Just enter the numeric code, for example enter 1 for USA or 44 for UK. And then put your full mobile number in the second field with no other formatting (enter 2125551234 not (212) 555-1234). Next, click Save and Close, enter the code that was sent to your phone, and click Verify OTP.

If you do not provide your mobile number, your code will be sent by email for future logins. Just close the MFA Setup window that asks for your phone number after you log in.

Whether sent by email or text message, codes expire after 15 minutes. If you waited too long to enter your code, click Request Another Code and we'll send you a fresh one.

If you get a new phone number, click the MFA Setup button in your user profile to modify. If you want to remove your phone number entirely, you'll need to email support.
