Turn down an RFP

In the dynamic landscape of handling RFPs, you sometimes might be unable to submit a bid on a business opportunity. In this scenario, a streamlined process is in place to efficiently communicate your decision.

The Turndown an RFP page includes a set of fields to articulate the reasons for your choice and communicate your decision to the relevant parties.

The To field automatically shows the email address of the RFP Primary Contact, but you can include additional email addresses as necessary.

In the Reason field, you can use a predefined selection to specify the grounds for being unable to bid. This information is seamlessly transmitted back to prominent platforms like Cvent, Groups360, SpeedRFP, SignUp4, Venue Directory, 1000Meetings, CVBs, and Central Sales (formerly Connex).

If your administrator has supplied templates, use the Select Response option to insert preapproved text into the Comments field. Messages entered here are automatically uploaded to Cvent and Central Sales, irrespective of the recipients listed in the To and System Recipients fields.

To enhance your communication, up to three attachments can be included, with a combined size limit of 15 MB.

Upon completion of your response, click Send to finalize the process.
