Guestroom planner overview
Use the guestroom planner to view and manage custom preventive maintenance schedules for your guestrooms on a custom recurrence basis.
Recurrences are daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, nights passed, nights occupied, and vacant nights.
To view the guestroom planner dashboard
Navigate to Operations > Schedules > Guestroom Planner. The Guestroom Planner page displays.
Only users with the roles of Unit Schedule Manager, Unit Schedule Viewer, or Corporate System Administrator can view the Guestroom Planner.

Summary cards at the top of the page display values based on the selected date range.
- Schedules overdue
- Completed schedules
- Average labor
- Total labor sum
- Average labor cost
- Total labor cost

The guestroom column lists rooms in ascending order, and a horizontal grid shows each month of the year. Users can view the calendar for the current year, the past 12 months, or the next 12 months. Each room indicates its status.
Green check mark () - This indicates no outstanding or upcoming scheduled work. The icon displays the number of days until the next scheduled work.
Yellow attention () - This indicates no outstanding scheduled work. The icon displays the number of days until the next scheduled work.
Red attention () - This indicates no outstanding scheduled work not completed. The icon displays the number of days past due for the oldest scheduled work.

Grid legend
The grid legend uses different colored pills to represent scheduled work on guestrooms, placed according to their scheduled dates.
• Gray - Future work schedule - This is work that is eight days or greater from the current date.
• Green - Service status complete - This is completed or closed scheduled work as of the current date.
• Orange - Service needed soon - This is work scheduled to be generated within seven days.
• Red - Service overdue - This is work scheduled but incomplete for over seven days.
Click on a pill to open the schedule Detailspagescreen.
When multiple work orders are scheduled for the same date range, those pills displaywill appear in black and arebe labeled with the number of scheduled work orders.
Hover over the pill to display:
- Name of the scheduled work
- Scheduled date
- Scheduled time
- Last completed date
- Recurrence setting
- Assigned person's name
- Assigned team
- Responsible Department/trade

Guestroom details
Click on a guestroom to view the start date, service required, and schedule status.

Filters
Use the Filter Builder icon () to narrow the information that displays on the dashboard.
