Workflows

Workflows have two components, business rules and PMS rules, both designed to automate tasks ensuring nothing is overlooked and you provide your guests with the best service possible.

Business rules automate routine tasks. For example, plumbing, electrical, and hvac orders are automatically sent to the Engineering team. When a guest order is completed, a guest follow up automatically lets the guest service agent know it's time to call the guest back. Business rules not only automate repetitive actions, but ensure actions aren't missed.

PMS rules automatically generate orders based on information received through an interface from the PMS, such as check in, check out, arrival, VIP and group status. For example, fifteen minutes after the guest has checked in, give the guest a welcome call.

PMS Rules require a PMS interface and are not available in HotSOS Select.
