Set up mobile devices
As you create service orders, they are automatically routed to the correct team. Housemen and engineers can view a prioritized list and take action on a mobile device. Each mobile device used by a team member will need to be setup.
Unit Device Manager role is required to register each device—this is a one time only task.

Minimum Android device requirements:
Device type: | Tablet, mobile |
OS: | Current minor release of the last 3 OS versions |
Device account: | Must have Google account to download HotSOS. |
Ports: | 5228, 5229, 5230, 443 |
Ports must be supported by network and open. If ports are not open device notifications will not function for either service orders or send messages.
Register an Android device.
- Open Google Play. If you do not have an account, create one.
- In the Search box, enter HotSOS.
- Tap Install.
- Tap Open.
- When prompted, tap Allow.
- In the lower-right corner, tap
.
- Enter the data center, you received from the Amadeus Projects Team. For example: https://na.m-tech.com/hotsos/app/.
- Tap the Set URL.
- Enter the Login and Password you received from the Amadeus Projects Team.
- You'll see the following message, "You are about to add this device in [your hotel name]. Do you want to proceed?" If the hotel name is correct, choose Add. If not, contact Amadeus Projects Team.
- When the device is successfully registered, you'll see the PIN screen.
- Repeat this entire procedure for each device.

Label the devices to keep track of them. For example, if Engineering has six devices, you might label each device as ENG01 through ENG06.

- Tap App Store. If you do not have an account, create one.
- In Search, enter HotSOS Mobile.
- Tap Download.
- Tap Open.
- When prompted, tap Allow.
- In the lower-right corner, tap

- Enter the data center, you received from the Amadeus Projects Team. For example: https://na.m-tech.com/hotsos/app/.
- Tap Save.
- Enter the Login and Password you received from the Amadeus Projects Team.
- You'll see the following message, "You are about to add this device in [your hotel name]. Do you want to proceed?" If the hotel name is correct, choose Add. If not, contact Amadeus Projects Team.
- When the device is successfully registered, you'll see the PIN screen.

HotSOS notification set up in iOS.
You will need to set up notifications for each device so HotSOS Mobile users will receive service order and message notifications.
- On the iOS home page, tap Settings.
- Scroll to find HotSOS in Settings.
- Tap HotSOS.
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap Banners.
- Tap Banner Style; select Temporary. Temporary will keep the banner notification on the page for 5 seconds.
- Tap Sound to turn on.
- Optionally, tap Badges to turn on. A badge indicates the number of notifications in HotSOS waiting to be read.

Delete the device from the device table in Configuration/Personnel/Devices

Uninstall HotSOS Mobile.

Re-install HotSOS Mobile using instructions for your device above.
