These release notes describe new features and fixed issues in the 2019 releases of the following products: HotSOS Housekeeping, HotSOS Thick Client, and HotSOS (Operations, Reports, and Config).

New features
- Service orders dashboard enhancement. The Service Order dashboard has been redesigned to present workload information in easy-to-read graphs. You can now see the number of Open Requests and Today’s Activity at the top of the dashboard—key insight to ensure work is balanced and being completed based on your brand standards. The dashboard has two tabs, Overview and Guest Summary. Overview provides data on pending orders, both guest and non-guest, by status, priority, trade, department, etc. Guest Summary displays Guest Incidents and Guest Requests for that day.
- HotSOS Housekeeping dashboard. Housekeeping now has its own dashboard to empower housekeeping management to make data driven decisions to ensure the department runs efficiently as they strive to exceed guest expectations. Housekeeping supervisors and managers will know at-a-glance the status of the housekeeping workload broken down by Progress, Guest Activity, and Task.
- Dashboard Manager role. To give users access to the new dashboards, you’ll need to assign them the Dashboard Manager role.

New features
- Hebrew translations. Hebrew translations are now available to all customers.
- Manage goal credit assignments. Goal credits help Supervisors balance the Room Attendant’s workload ensuring staff is not over or under-utilized. The Goal Credit icon
has been added to the following modules in HotSOS Housekeeping: Room Attendant Assignments, Supervisor List, and Personnel. When the icon is red, the RA is over their goal credits; when orange, the RA is under their goal credits. These goal credit icons are filter options in Housekeeping Personnel. You can use them to quickly see which Room Attendants are over or under their daily goal. The goal credit icon feature permits Supervisors to easily monitor and manage the daily room clean workload.
- Service Order dashboard redesigned. The dashboard is a visual representation of guest and non-guest activity for the current day and gives Supervisors and Team Leads valuable data at-a-glance, so they can make business impacting decisions that affect both the staff and guest experience.

New features
- PM Orders Work List report. This new HotSOS Thick Client report allows you to print individual PM orders. You can run the report using the default parameters or filter by Trade, Trade Group, or Department. These filters group all open PM orders for easier distribution. The report defaults to English but is available in other languages based on the existing translations at the property.
- Update to HotSOS Mobile app for Android. Google is retiring its current push notification service used in our HotSOS application. To address this, Amadeus has deployed to the Google Play Store, an update to HotSOS Mobile which will use Google’s new push notification service. To ensure no disruption to push notifications in HotSOS Mobile, you need to install the latest update from the Google Play Store by Wednesday, April 10th 2019.
- From your Android device, open the Google Play Store, tap Menu and select My Apps & Games.
- Select HotSOS Mobile and click Update.
If your property uses a mobile device management tool, your IT Administration team can push the update to all devices via the management tool.
If you encounter any issues after you install the update, please contact Amadeus Support (Hospitality.SOSupport@amadeus.com)

New features
- Inspection status tracked. Inspections performed in HotSOS Mobile will now record the start, stop, and complete status. This aligns labor with other issue types and more accurately reflects productivity in reports.
- “Call Back" replaced with “Follow up". A call back flag encourages the property to contact the guest to verify the issue reported has been addressed and if not, take immediate action to make the guest happy. Throughout the system, we've replaced “Call Back” with “Follow up”. Anywhere in HotSOS Thick Client and HotSOS Mobile where you saw the term "Call Back", you will now see "Follow Up". We haven’t had a chance to update reports, but it is on our list and coming soon.
- DND and Refuse report. In HotSOS Housekeeping, a new field has been added to the DND and Refuse Service report to allow you to view data based on the number of times DND has been set.
For example, if 3 is selected, only those rooms with more than 3 DNDs will be included in the report. Remember, a DND is set for a limited amount of time. When the Room Attendant returns to see if the DND has been removed, she/he must reset it if the DND is still there. - Supervisor Assignment Summary report. The Supervisor Assignment Summary report has been updated to allow you to report on multiple tasks at one time. By default, tasks include: Departure Clean, Stayover Clean, Stayover Full Linen, Touch Up, and Turndown. If the tasks have been customized by the property, the customized tasks will also be available.
