Add cost to service orders

Want to know just how much it costs to complete an order? You are in luck. HotSOS can track labor, parts, and recovery costs for each order. Once you have defined costs in Configuration, they become available to apply to orders.

HotSOS Select records only labor costs.

Labor cost is automatically tracked when an hourly rate is added to a trade in Configuration, however, it can also be added to an order manually.

  1. Tap to open the order.

  2. Tap the Costs tab at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap Labor tab.

  4. Tap Add Button Icon.

  5. Tap Respondent. Scroll through the list to find the respondent or enter a few letters of the name then select from the resulting list. More than one person may be selected as needed.

  6. Fill in the fields to accurately reflect the labor expended.

    • Start Time

    • Start Date

    • Hours

    • Minutes

    • Cost Code

  1. Tap Green checkmark for OK.

By setting up parts (Configuration/Costs/Parts), they can then be added to an order to more accurately reflect the total cost of completing an order.

  1. Tap to open the order.

  2. Tap the Costs tab.

  3. Tap the Parts tab at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Tap Add Button Icon.

  5. Tap Parts. Scroll through the list to find the part or enter a few letters of the part name then select from the resulting list.

  6. Adjust the Quantity manually or using the +/- to accurately reflect the parts used.

  1. Tap Green checkmark for OK.

  2. Repeat to add more parts as needed.

When a guest complains, whether it's about poor service, room conditions, or simply a misunderstanding, recovering the guest's loyalty can easily resolve the concern.

  1. Tap to open the order.

  2. Tap the Costs card.

  3. Tap the Recoveries tab.

  4. Tap Add Button Icon.

  5. Tap Recovery. Scroll through the list to find the recovery or enter a few letters of the recovery name then select from the resulting list.

  6. Make adjustments to the fields to accurately reflect the recovery to be applied:

    • Price. Adjust the amount manually or using the +/-.

    • Quantity. Enter the quantity manually or use the +/-.

  7. Enter a remark (required).

  8. Tap Green checkmark for OK.

  9. Tap the recovery to open. You can adjust quantity, price and select cost code

  10. Tap Green checkmark for OK.

  11. Repeat to include additional recovery.
