Service order locations

Before responding to an issue, you need to know where it's located and if the room is currently available. It's also helpful to know if other service orders have been recently created for that location, indicating that maybe there's a larger problem that needs to be addressed. You can find all of this information on the Service Order Location screen—simply tap the Location area of the Service Order Details screen to open it.

To return to the previous screen, tap the back arrow.

Location Details

If the location is a guestroom, you'll see details related to the room's current Clean Status and Service Status. This lets you know if the room is occupied, clean or dirty, out of service, etc., so you can figure out the best time to work on the issue. These details are specific to guestrooms and are not provided for other locations, such as meeting spaces and equipment.

Fields

If the location is a piece of equipment (for example, an air conditioning unit), you'll see details related to model number, filter size, coolant, etc., as specified by your property's HotSOS configuration.

My Orders, Open Orders, Recently Closed Orders

It's sometimes helpful to see a history of service orders that have been created for a location. This information can tell you if there's been an ongoing problem in the room, or if a guest has reported several different issues during their stay. You can then determine the best way to proceed with the job.

To see a list of service orders related to the location, tap the following sections—the number indicates how many service orders are in that list:

Tap a service order in any of these lists to open it and see its details—including whether or not the issue was guest related.
