Build your confidence!

  1. You've got a priority 2 service order—an air handler issue in room 401. No problem, you open the service order and tap Start. When you get to the room, you realize you'll need to order a part to truly fix the issue. In HotSOS what should you do to indicate that you cannot complete the service order at this time?

    • Open the service order and tap Stop. Then add a remark to let others know the parts on order.
    • Open the service order and tap Complete. When the new part arrives, create a new service order.
    • Open the service order, tap Pause, and then select the Part on Order check box.
    • Just leave the service order as started. You can complete it in a couple of days when the part arrives.
  2. The part just came in for the air handler unit you worked on a few days ago. You open the stopped service order and tap Start. After making the repair, tap Complete. This removes the service order from your list.
