Add Billing Information and Inquiry Rating as Setup Value Types

The following steps provide instructions on how to add Billing Information and Inquiry Rating as Setup Value Types. This allows an administrator to create new setup values that will display in different picklists throughout the application. This feature requires R2 (version 1.34) or later. To add Billing Information and Inquiry Rating as Setup Value Types

  1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Setup Value.
  2. Navigate to the Custom Fields & Relationships section and click Setup Value Type.
  3. Navigate to the Picklist Values section and click New.
  4. In the box, enter BillingInformation and InquiryRating as new values (note exact spelling, spacing, and casing).
  5. Select the Corporate Setup Value and Property Setup Value checkboxes.
  6. Click Save.
  7. In the Picklist values section, click the Reorder button.
  8. Select the Sort Values Alphabetically checkbox, and then click Save.
