Enable the Change Log
The following steps provide instructions on how to enable the Change Log. This feature requires R3 (version 1.39) or later. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.

To enable the Change Log
- Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Booking Event > Page Layouts > Edit Booking Event Layout.
- In the Booking Event Layout toolbar, click Related Lists.
- Drag the Change Logs related list onto the layout above the Transactions related list.
- Click Save at the top of the Layout page.
- If the Overwrite Users' Related List Customizations message is shown, click Yes.
- Click the Properties icon at the top of the Change Logs related list you just added.
The Related List Properties - Change Log window opens.
- In the Available Fields box, select Change Log Entry Name, Change Type, Change Description, Created By, and Last Modified By.
- Click Add to add the fields to the Selected Fields box.
- In the Sort By picklist, select Created By and then select Descending.
- Click OK.
- Click Save at the top of the Layout page.
After you click Save, you may see this warning message: "The following field(s) are controlling other fields, but are not on this page layout: <field names>. Continue saving?" Simply click Yes to close the message.
- Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Setup Value > Custom Fields & Relationships > Setup Value Type.
- Navigate to the Picklist Values section and click the New button.
- Enter ChangeLogType in the box.
- Select the Corporate Setup Value and Property Setup Value checkboxes.
- Click Save.
- In the Picklist Values section, click the Reorder button.
- Select the Sort Values Alphabetically checkbox, and then click Save.
The Change Log report displays changes made to distributed event orders. To run this Visualforce report, you'll need to complete the steps below.
- Click All Tabs (+), and then click Amadeus Settings.
- Click Populate Custom Settings, and then click OK.
- In the message box, click OK to confirm that you want to reinitialize the default values for the application.
After you click OK to Populate Custom Settings, you will not be returned to the Amadeus Settings page. Wait approximately 60 seconds and then click the Amadeus Reports tab to see the Change Log report in the list of available reports.
With the new Do Not Print on Change Log Report checkbox, users can choose to hide certain changes on the Change Log report.
- Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Change Log Entry > Page Layouts > Edit Change Log Layout.
- In the Change Log Layout toolbar, click Fields.
- Drag the Do Not Print on Change Log Report field onto the layout under the Change Log Entry Name field.
- Click Save at the top of the Layout page.
