Enable the revenue breakdown discrepancy notification

The following steps provide instructions on how to enable the revenue breakdown discrepancy notification that will appear when an item's revenue breakdown and unit price do not match. This feature requires R4 (version 1.49) or later. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.

To enable the revenue breakdown discrepancy notification

1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Item > Page Layouts > Edit Detailed Menu Corporate Record Layout.

2. From the Layout toolbar, click and drag a new section onto the layout above the Information section.

3. In the Section Properties window (opens automatically), do the following:

• In the Section Name, enter Menu Information.
• Change the Layout to 1-Column.
• Accept all other defaults and click OK.

4. In the Layout toolbar, click Visualforce Pages.
5. Click and drag Menu Information into the new section you just added.
6. Click the Properties icon on the Visualforce page you just added and do the following:

• Set the Height to 50.

• Accept all other defaults and click OK.

7. Click Save at the top of the Layout page.
8. If you receive the following warning message, click Yes.

9. Repeat this entire procedure for the Detailed Menu Property Record, Simple Menu Corporate Record, and Simple Menu Property Record page layouts.
