Enable the editable Booking Events grid

The following steps provide instructions on how to enable the editable Booking Events grid. This feature requires R6 (version 1.54) or later. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.

To enable the Booking Events grid

  1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Booking > Page Layouts > Edit Booking Layout.
  2. In the Booking Layout toolbar, click Visualforce Pages.
  3. Drag a new Section to the location on the Booking page layout where you want to insert the Booking Events grid.

The Section Properties window opens.

  1. Do the following:

The new section is created on the Booking page layout.

  1. Drag the Booking Event Manager Inline Visualforce page into the new section.

  1. Click the Properties icon at the top of the section.

The Visualforce Page Properties window opens.

  1. Set the height for the Booking Events grid (recommended: 450 pixels), and then click OK.
  2. Click Save at the top of the Layout page.
  3. Repeat these steps for the Event Only Booking layout.

Optional step: Remove the Booking Events related list

With the new editing Booking Events grid, you may not want to keep the Booking Events related list on the Booking page as the two areas display the same information. To remove the Booking Events related list, follow these steps:

Removing the Booking Events related list will also remove the Booking Events link at the top of the Booking page.

  1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Booking > Page Layouts > Edit Booking Layout.
  2. Navigate to the Booking Event related list and click the Remove icon.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Repeat these steps for the Event Only Booking layout.
