Make the Sort Order field required on the Function Room layout

The following steps provide instructions on how to make the Sort Order field required on the Function Room page layout. This feature requires R7 (version 1.60) or later. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.

To make the Sort Order field required

1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Function Room > Page Layouts > Edit Function Room Layout.
2. Hover over the Sort Order field and click the Properties icon.

The Field Properties window opens.

3. Select the Required checkbox, and OK.
4. Click Save at the top of the Function Room Layout page.
5. Repeat these steps for the Combination Function Room, Indivisible Function Room, and Standalone Function Room page layouts.
