Enable other income items

The following steps provide instructions on how to enable other income items. This feature requires R9 (version 1.73) or later. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.

To enable other income items

  1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Property.
  2. Navigate to the Page Layouts section and click Edit next to Property Layout.
  3. In the Property Layout toolbar, click Related Lists.
  4. Drag the Other Income related list onto the layout under Choice Groups.
  5. To add columns to the new Other Income related list, click its Related List Properties icon.
  6. In the Related List Properties – Other Income window, do the following:
  • In the Available Fields list, select Name, Price, Revenue Association, and Revenue Classification, and then click Add to move the fields to the Selected Fields list.
  • In the Sort By list, select Name, and then select Ascending.
  • Click OK.
  1. Click Save at the top of the Property Layout page.

  1. Repeat this entire procedure for the Event Only Property page layout (if applicable).
  1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Booking.
  2. Navigate to the Page Layouts section and click Edit next to Booking Layout.
  3. In the Booking Layout toolbar, click Related Lists.
  4. Drag the Booking Other Incomes related list onto the layout under Booking Packages.
  5. To add columns to the new Booking Other Incomes related list, click its Related List Properties icon.
  6. In the Related List Properties – Booking Other Incomes window, do the following:
  • In the Available Fields list, select Name, Description, Blended Revenue Total, and On a Package, and then click Add to move the fields to the Selected Fields list.
  • In the Sort By list, select Name, and then select Ascending.
  • Click OK.
  1. Click Save at the top of the Booking Layout page.

  1. Repeat this entire procedure for the Event Only Booking page layout (if applicable).
  1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Setup Value.
  2. Navigate to the Custom Fields & Relationships section and click Setup Value Type.
  3. Navigate to the Picklist Values related list and click New.
  4. In the box, enter OtherIncomeCategory as a new value (note exact spelling, spacing, and casing).
  5. Select the Property Setup Value checkbox.

  1. Click Save.
  2. In the Picklist Values section, click the Reorder button.
  3. Select the Sort Values Alphabetically checkbox, and then click Save.
