Add additional source fields to the Booking layout

Before R20, the following users could be sourced on a booking: Additional Sales Manager, Catering Manager, Service Manager, and Other Manager. When you upgrade to R20, you can add up to five additional sources to a booking. Like the standard sources, these users will have access to the booking.

The following steps provide instructions on how to add the additional source fields to the Booking page layout. This feature requires R20 or later. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.

To add additional source fields to the Booking page layout

  1. Go to Setup > Create > Objects > Booking.
  2. Navigate to the Page Layouts section and click Edit next to Booking Layout.
  3. In the Booking Layout toolbar, click Fields.
  4. Drag the following fields to the Booking Sources section of the page: Other Source 1, Other Source 2, Other Source 3, Other Source 4, and Service Assistant.
  5. Click Save at the top of the Booking Layout page.

  6. Repeat this entire procedure for the Event Only Booking Layout.
