Enable inclusive pricing
The new inclusive pricing functionality in R21 makes it simple for customers who traditionally sell food and beverage, guestrooms, function space, packages, and other income inclusive of tax to provide estimates and quote rates on-the-fly. No calculator needed.
To take advantage of inclusive pricing in your org, you also need to use the enhanced tax engine that is available in R21.
The following steps provide instructions on how to enable inclusive pricing in your org. This feature requires R21 or later. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.
For assistance with any feature configuration, contact your Amadeus sales representative to learn more about our Professional Services offerings.
To enable inclusive pricing
- Click All Tabs (+) and then click Amadeus Settings.
- Click Enabled Enhanced Taxes and Inclusive Pricing.
- Select Enable Inclusive Pricing.
The Enable Enhanced Taxes checkbox is also selected and cannot be changed.
- Click Save.
When you enable the inclusive pricing feature for your org, many areas will automatically display the new inclusive pricing fields. For example, you’ll see two new columns in the Booking Events grid: Excl. Rental and Incl. Rental. Similarly, the Manage Menus and Items page will now display columns for the item’s Excl. Price and Incl. Price.
To fully implement inclusive pricing, you’ll need to manually update some additional areas. The following table lists the page layouts that need to be updated with the inclusive pricing fields. In some cases, multiple page layouts need to be configured for an object (see bullets).

The Revenue Summary section gives you quick access to the inclusive and exclusive revenue totals on a booking or event. Totals are provided for each of your corporate revenue classifications and are based on actual values.
- Exclusive Total - The total net revenue
- Inclusive Total - The total revenue inclusive of taxes
- Grand Total - The total revenue inclusive of taxes, gratuity, and admin
The Revenue Summary also includes guestroom totals that display pickup values when a room block has been marked complete; otherwise, it displays blocked values.
