Enable new Manage Guestrooms and Enter Pickup user experience
The re-imagined guestroom experience offers users a host of new features and functionality that will bring improvements and efficiencies to everyday room block management.
With the new room block experience, creating, managing and entering pickup follows a familiar sequence of steps. However, the changes that come with the new look and feel may take a moment for your users to adapt to. For this reason, we purposefully designed this feature to be optional, allowing corporate administrators to activate it when they are ready for their users to take advantage of it.
This feature requires R49 or later. The following content provides directions on how to enable the new Manage Guestroom user experience. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.
Validate the Manage Guestrooms button on the Booking page layout
To enable the new guestroom experience, you need to start by making sure your org has the correct Manage Guestrooms button on the Booking page layouts. Delphi actually has two different buttons with only one of them being compatible with the feature toggle. Corporate administrators should take a moment to review the buttons and update the page layouts accordingly.

- In the Layout toolbar, click Buttons.
- Find the Manage Guestrooms buttons. Select your version of Delphi to continue. Version R49 or R50

- If the name of the button is Manage_Guestrooms, swap the buttons on the page layout.
- Click and drag the nihrm_Manage_Guestrooms button and place it on the left side of the current button.
- Remove the current button by clicking and drag it back to the layout toolbar.
- Click Save at the top of the Layout page - this will return you to the Booking page.
