Enable booking day snapshot purge
This feature is available with version R55 or higher. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.
Contact Amadeus
Before enabling the new Booking Day Snapshot (BDS) purge, contact Amadeus Support to grant the designated corporate administrators access to enable and configure the purge settings by property.
Each change in configuration is logged for security purposes.
Select your Salesforce experience to enable the booking day snapshot purge.

To enable the new Booking Day Snapshot purge by property

Click All Tabs (+) and then Amadeus Settings.

In the System Setup and Configuration Settings, select Configure Property Object Retention.

For the applicable property, in the Booking Day Snapshot column, click Edit (
) to open the Edit: Booking Day Snapshot page for the selected property.
By enabling the Booking Day Snapshot purge, you accept that historical snapshot records will be deleted from your system and acknowledge the impact this might have on your custom solutions and reporting that use these records.

Select Enable Purge (Booking Day Snapshot).

By default, the Years to Retain (Booking Day Snapshot) is set to five years. This number can be increased to meet the property's reporting needs. This number can also be decreased to as low as three years.
The purge feature has a minimum retention range of three years, ensuring that at least three years of booking day snapshot records are preserved for reporting purposes.

In the Purge Days (Booking Day Snapshot), configure the purge days. By default, all weekdays are in the Chosen list and can be modified if preferred to limit the days that the purge can occur.

Click Save and Close to return to the Configure Property Object Retention page. The status of the property’s Booking Day Snapshot Purge is now Active.

Repeat steps 3-7 for any additional properties available.

OPTIONAL: To estimate the data storage savings with the enabled purge, click Calculate BDS Purge Savings. The system calculates the estimated number of Booking Day Snapshots to be purged.
To enable the new Booking Day Snapshot purge for multiple properties

Select all applicable properties and click Multi-Edit BDS Purge to open the Edit: Booking Day Snapshot Page for all selected properties.
