Enable channel rates and availability
This feature is available with version R55 or higher. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.
Sales managers can use the Channel Rates and Availability interface to search their properties that sell online and view the same availability and pricing for guestrooms and packages as an online shopper. They can then create a booking with that pricing from this interface.
Users can access this interface with the Channel Rates and Availability button on the Availability page. To enable this interface, you need to add the button to the Availability page, and grant some permissions to user profiles. Follow the steps below.
To enable the Channel Rates and Availability button

Navigate to Amadeus Settings.

In the Protected Settings section, verify that the Channel Rates and Availability Url field is populated. If not, click Populate Custom Settings at the top left of the page, under System Setup and Configuration Settings, and follow the prompts.

Navigate to Channels and select the Channel linked to your property. The Channel Details page displays.

Select the Supports Channel Rates and Availability checkbox.

Select your Salesforce experience for further details.
Classic - Delphi users only

Navigate to Channels.

Click a channel to open the Channel Detail page.

Click Edit Layout in the top right corner of the page.

In the Channel Layout section of the page, ensure Fields is selected on the left panel, and find the Supports Channel Rates and Availability field.

Use your mouse pointer to drag the field to the page layout below. Amadeus recommends placing this field in the position below the Active checkbox field.

When finished, click Save.
Lightning - Delphi and Delphi Core users

Navigate to Setup (
) and click Setup.

Select the Object Manager tab.
-
Click the Channel object from the list.
-
Click Page Layouts, and then Channel Layout.

In the Channel Layout section of the page, ensure Fields is selected on the left panel, and find the Supports Channel Rates and Availability field.

Use your mouse pointer to drag the field to the page layout below. Amadeus recommends placing this field in the position below the Active checkbox field.

When finished, click Save.

Navigate to Properties and select your property. The Property Details page displays.

Click Channel Manager. The Channel Manager displays.

In the Manage Channels column, select the active channel linked to your property. The Property Details page displays.

Select the Allow Channel Rates and Availability checkbox.

Review the information in the remaining tabs for your channel configuration. This information is used by the API to expose your business online.
To allow users to create a booking from the interface

Navigate to Amadeus Settings.

In the Protected Settings section, verify that the Channel Integration Booking Url field is populated. If not, click Populate Custom Settings at the top left of the page and follow prompts.

Add the appropriate permissions. Select your Salesforce experience for further details.
Classic - Delphi users only

Navigate to Setup > Manage Users > Profiles.

Click Sales and Catering User.
-
Click Object Settings.
-
Click Contacts.
-
Click Edit.
-
In the field permission named Do Not Call, select Read Access and Edit Access.

In the field permission named Fax Opt Out, select Read Access and Edit Access.

Click Save.
-
Repeat these steps for the following profiles: Event Only User, Sales and Catering Property Administrator, and Event Only Property Administrator.
Lightning - Delphi and Delphi Core users

Navigate to Setup (
) > Users > Profiles.

Click Sales and Catering User.

Click Object Settings.
-
Click Contacts.
-
Click Edit.
-
In the field permission named Do Not Call, select Read Access and Edit Access.

In the field permission named Fax Opt Out, select Read Access and Edit Access.

Click Save.

Repeat these steps for the following profiles: Event Only User, Sales and Catering Property Administrator, and Event Only Property Administrator.
