Respond to activity reminders
You can add reminders to tasks and appointments to be notified before an action needs to be taken. When you log in to Salesforce, an alert displays with the pending activities assigned to you.
If additional activities become due while you are logged in, the reminder displays again with the updated information. If you do not see the reminder alert, check your browser settings to allow pop-ups.
The reminder displays the following information:
- The type of activity
- The activity due date, for tasks, or start time, for events
- The activity subject
