Edit tax groups
The information in this topic applies to non-enhanced taxes. To learn about enhanced taxes, refer to Overview: Enhanced taxes.
Use the Tax Group Edit page to change the name and description of a tax group. Use related pages to make additional changes to a tax group including:
- Adding taxes to the tax group
- Editing the taxes in the tax group
- Associating revenue classifications with the tax group
You need to be an administrator to make any changes to a tax group. Users cannot modify taxes when they create a booking event. Changes can only be made on the Property page.
To edit a tax group
- In the Tax Groups section of the Property page, click Edit next to the tax group. The Tax Group Edit page displays.
- Update the tax group Name and Description as needed.
Depending on your experience, either an asterisk or a red bar indicates a mandatory field. These fields need to be complete before you can save the record.
- Click Save.
