Reset user passwords

Corporate administrators can reset user passwords. An email notification is sent to each user with a temporary password and a link to Salesforce. The users are prompted to change this password when they log in.

To reset a password

  1. Navigate to Setup.
  2. In the Quick Find search box, enter 'Users' and select it below.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the user.
  4. Click Reset Passwords.
  5. Confirm the reset.
