New features
Corporate administrators have several new features in this release. The first three are located in the Admin Settings page, which is accessed by clicking your name in the top right corner and selecting Admin from the picklist.
- Provide custom links in the menu bar. You now have the ability to add up to five links that will display in the left menu bar for all users at all Standard or Essential properties. These can be used to quickly direct your teams to shared sites like SOP documentation on your intranet, forms requesting changes to users, or the link to register for a complimentary Amadeus webinar. In the Custom Links section of the Admin page, select the check box to agree to the terms. That makes the fields available to enter a display name and URL. When you save, the links display at the bottom of the blue menu bar just under the Contact Support link.
- Require account and contact. Sometimes your team is in a rush and they forget to provide all of the necessary details for their business, which makes finding information and reporting difficult. To help prevent this, you can now require that both an account and contact are provided for bookings and volume contracts. To enable this, change the toggle to On in the Account and Contact Required section of the Admin page.
- Private account sharing. Previously, all Standard & Essential module properties automatically shared all accounts and contacts. Orgs created after July 14, 2021 on R43 or higher now have the option to use private accounts, meaning the property that creates the account is the only property with access unless it is shared with other properties. The default setting is to use private accounts. To share accounts with all properties, a corporate administrator changes the toggle to On in the Default Account Sharing section of the Admin page.
- Security log. Corporate administrators can now view the security logs that record "who did what". When you open the dropdown menu by your name in the top right corner, select the Security Logs option. Important changes to settings that impact security are recorded, listing the user who made the change along with a date and time.
- Improved function room capacity entry. When entering capacities, the header row remains in view as you scroll down to remind you which function room you're working in and what each column is for.

New features
- Monthly webinars. Learn from the best! Our team of product experts now offer complimentary monthly training webinars where you can learn best practices and ask questions. View session details and register.
- Phone support. In addition to e-mail support and the Customer Central Community, you now have the option to call Amadeus Support. See Contact Support for your region's phone number.
- Function room capacities. Now more than ever it’s important that groups do not exceed attendance guidelines. Administrators can now enter a maximum capacity for each function room and setup style. If someone saves an event with more than the defined maximum capacity, an orange warning symbol displays in the Events grid, and a message displays in both the Event Details and the Booking pages. To add capacities, under Setup, click Function Rooms, and then click Manage Capacities. You can also add a default setup and teardown time—a nice time saver for the team.
- Property search. This might surprise you, but some companies have hundreds of properties. That's why we've added a new Search field on the Properties page. You can now enter the property name, or even city or another part of the address to quickly find the property you need.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). We're pleased to announce that Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now available. This extra step of security helps confirm that it's really you logging in—and not a nefarious hacker. See Activate MFA to learn how to enable this highly recommended feature.
- Backdating bookings for new properties. If you're a new property, one of your first tasks is to enter all future business on the books. To have accurate pace and productivity reports, it's important to record the correct date when those bookings originated (the Booked Date field) and when the booking changed to the current status (Last Status Date field). Normally those fields default to today and can't be changed. Now corporate administrators can enable backdating bookings, which opens those fields up for the team to edit. As soon as the bookings that require backdating have been entered, the administrator just clears the check box, and the property is live. You want to accomplish this as quickly as possible because when you are in backdating mode, incremental changes to bookings are not captured, impacting your performance reports. See the Backdating Bookings topic to learn more. Note: Backdating is only for new properties—do not enable this for properties that migrated from another system, or an extract/append from another ASEM database.
- hSP and ProfitSword integration. A new Property Abbreviation field has been added to the Property Details page to support customers moving from hSP with a ProfitSword integration.
- Document Options training video for property administrators. Whether it's a proposal or contract, we know that merge documents are critical to your business. Watch the Document Options video to learn how to add your logo, enter custom text, and create polished documents that strengthen your brand and impress your customers.
- Create & Manage Users training video for corporate administrators. We've added a new Create & Manage Users video that explains how to create new users, assign property access, and accelerate onboarding and product adoption.
Fixed Issues
CR0133901, CR0133578: We've made improvements to guestroom entry for long-term bookings. If the room block requires more than 300 roomnights, only the ROH room type will be added. You can then add additional room types. This is a nice win for customers entering extended-stay business.
US590544: The Assigned To column has been added to the Activities tab in accounts and contacts.
CR0133698: Home page cards now display the correct numbers when there are over 500 bookings at a property.
CR0133519: When working on a BEO, you can save a newly created item for future use without error.
CR0134167: In the Events section of the Booking page, you can copy events without issue.
CR0133037: Changing dates on a room block that extends over multiple months can be completed without error.
CR0132912: Users that do not have administrative access to any property can add sources to their bookings, such as Additional Sales Manager. They can also change the owner on all records they own such as accounts, contacts, activities, bookings, volume contracts, and inquiries.
CS2813513: When running the Activity report, the Display Activity With No Due Date defaults to No.
CR0134002, CR0133603: When more than 500 activities exist on the same record, they all display as expected.
CR0133968: Migrated activities now display in the Reassign Owner utility.
CR0133957: Activities that are automatically archived by Salesforce (with a status of completed and due date of more than one year prior to today) display in the Activities tab for all objects.
May 10, 2021 (R41 P3)

MeetingBroker integration - no upgrade required
If you would rather not send your lost comments from inquiries and bookings to Cvent, your MeetingBroker subscription administrator can disable that part of your integration. In MeetingBroker, click Administration > Subscription > Configuration > Block lost comments to public channels > Save. Once saved, the ability to send lost comments from inquiries and bookings is removed for all locations in that subscription that are integrated with ASEM Advanced, Standard, or Essentials. Users must log into Cvent if personalized comments to the planner are necessary.

Fixed Issues
CR0134018: Changes to a guestroom block now update performance reports as expected.
February 1, 2021
Reports - no upgrade required
CR0133272: Security updates have been made to the Activity report to ensure results adhere to the user's property access. In the "Display Activities of" field of the report criteria, the "Other" option has been removed.

New Features
- Designate package items on BEOs. When you add a package event to a booking, the default items for that event are automatically included in the package price. What happens if you negotiated a free projector or an upgraded dessert? Starting in R41, you will use the new Included in Package option in the Item Details page. Add the item to the BEO, open it, and in the Included in Package section, select the box by the name of the package it belongs to. Now the price will be hidden and the BEO will display "included in package".
- Reassign Owners. (CR0091435, CR0091434) To help alleviate some of the administrative tasks associated with employee turnover and data migrations, we've added new functionality to make it easy for administrators to quickly reassign accounts, bookings, and activities from one owner to another. Just click your name in the top-right corner, select Admin, and click Reassign Owners. You can also use this feature to clean up uncompleted tasks. For newly migrated properties, we now collect the name of the record owner from the previous system, and add "(Migrated)" after their name on the Reassign Owners page—this makes it a snap to identify which owners should be replaced.

Cvent update
- Lost comments to Cvent. (CR0130806) When you receive a MeetingBroker lead from Cvent, you can now send personalized lost comments without ever leaving the system. When you change the status of an inquiry or a booking that came from MeetingBroker to Lost, Turndown, or Cancelled, the information you enter in the Lost Comments field is automatically sent to Cvent. Now you'll spend less time responding to leads that don't materialize, while still adding that personal touch.
Inquiry lost comments will only be sent for version R40 or higher. Booking lost comments are sent regardless of version.
