Contact details

All the information you entered when you created the contact is shown at the top of this page.

If the contact isn't already linked to an account, click the Associated Account field and select the account. You can also click New Account to create a brand new account and link the contact to it.

Want to email your contact directly from this page? Just click Send to Email to open your default email program.

We really like the Comments field on this tab because it makes it easy to "jot down" information as we're talking to a customer on the phone—no more keeping track of random scraps of paper!

Activities

Use the Activities tab to set reminders for yourself so you don't forget about important tasks and appointments related to this person. To add a new task or appointment, click + Activity and enter the activity's subject, due date, and status. This is also a great way to capture phone calls you have with customers.

The Activities tab shows all tasks and appointments related to the contact, including those that were created on its associated account, inquiries, and bookings.

Bookings

If a conversation with a customer turns into a business opportunity, you can quickly create a booking right from the Contact page. On the Bookings tab, click + Booking to open the Booking page. The contact and the associated account are automatically added to the booking.

Recap report

If you want to see a quick summary of all revenue associated with this contact, click More... and run the Recap report. You can also include activities, comments—basically any information attached to this contact.

Duplicate contacts

If all of the properties in your database share accounts and contacts, you're bound to have duplicates. If you find one, ask your Corporate administrator to join them using the option that is found in the More... button. Before joining, it compares the two records side-by-side and allows you to select the best information to keep from each one.
