Reassign bookings
Administrators can reassign bookings when a user has left the organization. This allows you to move the bookings to the new person managing the booking details. Prospect, Tentative and Definite bookings can be reassigned.
To reassign bookings
- Select the Booking tab.
- Select one of the following:
- User Role and User Name, if applicable
- Migrated User Role and Migrated User, if applicable
- Select a Booking Type if you want to limit the booking types to be reassigned. To update all records, leave this blank.
- Select a Booking Status if you want to limit booking statuses to be reassigned. To update all records, leave this blank.
- Enter a Starting Arrival Date if you want to limit updates to bookings from a specified date forward. To update all records, leave this blank.
- Enter an Ending Arrival Date if you want to limit updates to bookings within a date range. To update all records, leave this blank.
- Select an Account Market Segment and Booking Market Segment if applicable.
- Click Search.
- Select all the bookings to be reassigned.
- Select a new Owner.
- Click Update Owners, then click Yes to confirm.
- Click Audit/History to view progress.
- Click the Log Entry Number to view all updated entries and to download the CSV file of changes.
Validation rules in your database could cause records to fail, and some records may have to be updated manually. View the details of any invalid records in the audit history files.
