Software

Users will be able to view merged documents in any application that supports Word Document (.DOC, .DOCX) and PDF files (.PDF)

Internet settings

• Allow mixed content to be displayed.
  • Chrome - Click the Padlock icon in the URL bar, click Site Settings, scroll down to find Insecure Content and change Block (default) to Allow. For more information read this article on protecting users from insecure downloads from Salesforce.
  • Firefox - In the address bar, enter about:config and press Enter. Click I accept the risk! This opens a list of preferences. In the Search field, enter mixed to display search results. Right-click security.mixed_content.block_active_content and click Toggleto set that preference to False.
  • Safari - No additional action is required. If the embedded content loads slowly, click the browser’s Refresh button.

• For all browsers, you must enable JavaScript, cookies, and TLS 1.2 or higher. Also, disable all pop-up blockers to view documents.

• If your property has MeetingBroker integration, it is important to know that core MeetingBroker is only compatible with Microsoft Edge with IE compatibility mode enabled.

  To enable compatibility view:

  1. Open Edge, click (...) in the top right corner to open the Settings and More menu.

  2. Click Settings, and then Default Browser.

  3. Under Internet Explorer compatibility, click the drop-down next to Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode, and select Allow.

  4. Click Add under Internet Explorer mode pages, paste https://my.meetingbroker.com and click Add.

  5. Click Restart.

  Adding the site to the list expires after 30 days. After it expires, when you open MeetingBroker, right-click on the tab and select Reload tab in Internet Explorer mode. In the pop-up window that says "This page is open in Internet Explorer mode", click the option to Open this page in Internet Explorer mode next time, and then click Done. This will renew it for another 30 days.
