Print and email reports on the Reports tab

Reports on the Reports tab can be downloaded as a Microsoft Excel (.xls) file. Use Excel to print the report or save it to attach to an email message.

Select your Salesforce experience.

To print a report

  1. Run the report and click Printable View. The report is downloaded as an .xls file.

  2. Open the .xls file in Microsoft Excel.

    If Excel displays a warning when opening this file, click Yes to proceed.

  3. In Excel, click the File tab and click Print.
  4. Choose your printer and settings and click Print.

To email a report

  1. Run the report, and then click Printable View. The report is downloaded as an .xls file.
  2. Open the .xls file in Microsoft Excel.
  3. In Excel, click the File tab, click Save As, and specify a location to save the file.
  4. Open your email program, create a new message addressed to the appropriate recipients, attach the .xls file, and send.

To print a report

  1. Run the report and click Export.
  2. Select Formatted Report and click Export.

  3. Open the .xls file in Microsoft Excel.

    If Excel displays a warning when opening this file, click Yes to proceed.

  4. In Excel, click the File tab and click Print.
  5. Choose your printer and settings and click Print.

To email a report

  1. Run the report and click Export.
  2. Select Formatted Report and click Export.
  3. In Excel, click the File tab, click Save As, and specify a location to save the file.
  4. Open your email program, create a new message addressed to the appropriate recipients, attach the .xls file, and send.
