New features and enhancements
The 2017 R2.1 features are automatically enabled and ready for you to use.
Aisles based on chair groupings
Aisle properties for growable chairs now have advanced options to automatically include aisles based on chair groupings. Just specify the chairs per section and aisle sizes and Delphi Diagramming does the rest. Advanced aisle options may be set before or after a chair has been grown.
Mouse wheel zoom
Use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out just like you do in Google Maps. Or if you prefer, continue to use the existing plus and minus zoom buttons to navigate your room plans.
Easier object selection
Thin objects, those with a narrow footprint, are now easier to select and include the following:
Resource | Location |
Screen | Audio/Visual |
Drape | Decor |
Rope and Stanchion | Exhibit |
Divider | Exhibit |
Toggle booking and event information on printed room plans
A room plan's booking and event information can be set to show or hide on its PDF or printed copy. This default is set in your profile; however, you can always override it on individual room plans.
New growable objects
Growable properties have been added to the existing Drape and Rope and Stanchion resource objects. These two objects now grow along their length.
A new Dance Floor Tile resource object has also been added and grows in a similar manner to chairs and tables.
Resource | Location |
Drape | Decor |
Rope and Stanchion | Exhibit |
Dance Floor Tile | Staging |
These objects may be edited with the Resources Editor.
Units of measure
A resource object’s dimensions are now expressed in feet or meters rather than inches or centimeters.
For example, a 192” x 5” x 11’ drape now displays as 16’ x 5” x 11’.
