MeetingMatrix: Glossary of terms

We're not big fans of making things hard to understand by using lots of techno-babble. A lot of the new system uses the same terms you’re used to seeing in MeetingMatrix, but there are some differences. We've outlined some of the biggest changes that you'll come by most often, for you to reference.

General Terms
Facility	Property	The property you have access to.
Room diagram	Meeting Space	Your function space/ outline of the room.
Setup diagram	Room Plan	Arrangement for an event.
Seating Wizard	Automatic Layout	Defaults are set using the seating wizard in the layout editor. This was previously known as "enhanced" diagrams.
Objects	Resources	Tables, chairs and other items.
3D-VR	3D	Three-dimensional render.
MRU	Frequently used	The ten resources you used most recently are displayed in the frequently used category.
Drawing terms
Strata	View (Eyeball)
Picture it	Image	Add a photo or other images to a diagram.
Setup library object	Custom configuration	Create your own groupings of commonly used items. For example, a projector with a screen exactly 4 meters away. These will be saved in the Custom Configurations category in Design Mode.
Objects	Resources	Tables, chairs, audio visual equipment, and other items.
Administrator terms
Control Panel	Seating Preferences, Resource Editor	Administrator areas of the system accessible by clicking your name in the upper-right corner of the page to set up the property.
MM Code	Property ID	Property reference for integration purposes.
Enhanced Diagram	Automatic Layout	Use the Layout Editor to set the default setups for automatic layout mode.
