Delphi Diagramming R1.1 release notes
Delphi Diagramming combines online software and services so properties can meet the demands of today’s event planners. With Delphi Diagramming, meeting spaces are presented in engaging and interactive ways, showcasing properties in the best light. This provides event planners with the information they need to make informed decisions and develop a short list of candidates for their events. Convenient navigation capabilities and a Start page make it easy for event planners to obtain information quickly. With integration to Google Maps and Google controls as well as attractions and points of interest views, event planners can see a property in relation to nearby attractions. And because Delphi Diagramming’s app now supports HTML5, users can take advantage of its features from any device, including tablets.
New features and enhancements
Media enhancements
- The Start page now dynamically displays the types of media the property has uploaded, such as images, videos, and virtual tours.
- You can maximize images on the Start page for enhanced viewing and include media captions.
Diagramming enhancements
- The setting of the following seating styles has been enhanced: Conference, Hollow Square, and U-Shape.
- Only those seating styles that are available for a particular room are displayed as options. For example, if a room can accommodate Theater style but not Theater Chevron, the list of available setup options for that room will not include Theater Chevron.
- The automated placement of staging and AV elements in a diagram has been improved.
- Chairs are pushed farther under tables to mimic real-life scenarios and maximize seating capacity in the diagram.
- The process of saving your diagram in PDF format has been streamlined.
Additional information
The following are known issues in this release of the product:
CR0090953: Delphi Diagramming 2014 R1 now takes aisle widths into consideration when setting up tables and chairs in diagrams. This change may result in fewer tables and chairs being allowed for a particular setup (for example, Classroom style); however, it ensures that all fire codes are met for the function room being diagrammed.
CR0082022: Depending on the size and shape of the room, using the Banquet Staggered setup may reduce the capacity of the space.
CR0082729, CR0082770, CR0083258: At lower screen resolutions, text in languages other than English may wrap, affect the spacing of other items, or be truncated.
CR0083101: Staging and AV placement may be affected by other permanent objects in the room, such as pillars and columns.
CR0090885: The Delphi Diagramming email form does not send emails in international formats.
CR0090883: You cannot play videos (MOV or MP4 files) on an iPad.
CR0090884: The formatting of the room search results may be affected by using your browser’s zoom tools.
CR0090882: When you print a capacity chart, the setup style icons are not displayed over the capacity columns.
Workaround: Set your browser to print background colors and images.
CR0090982: When using Chrome to view a floor, function room, or Diagramming element, you may occasionally receive the following error message: “Error retrieving SVG map”.
Workaround: Open another website in Chrome, clear your browser cache, and then close and re-open Chrome and proceed as usual.
CR0091095: Seating cannot be placed in a small room where a stage or dance floor has already been added.
CR0091168: When you upload or edit a logo in Delphi Diagramming, a short time lapse may occur before the logo is displayed.
CR0091186: The Get Adobe Reader message is not translated.
