New features and enhancements

Integration with Delphi

We are pleased to announce that Delphi Diagramming now integrates with Delphi R22 and higher, providing Sales and Catering Managers with a robust toolbox for creating detailed, professional room plans. Every event should tell a story, and now you can bring that story to life as you showcase your function space in 3D and help your customers envision their perfect wedding, meeting, or social gathering. With this integration, you can also leverage existing room plans for repeat bookings, which is especially helpful for new users or when time is of the essence.

To get started, simply click the View Diagram button on the Manage Events, Manage Menus and Items, or Booking Event page in Delphi. Delphi Diagramming will open your room plan in Automatic Layout Mode using the function room and setup you specified for the event in Delphi. Don’t worry if your function room and setup names are different in Delphi Diagramming—your administrator can quickly map the names in the two applications using the new Mapping Editor. One more thing to keep in mind: For now, Delphi Diagramming will continue to use the maximum capacity for the setup and room you’ve selected rather than the event’s attendance figures. Of course, you can always modify the room plan to accommodate your group’s attendance and special requests. Your finishing touches will remain in Delphi Diagramming but can be viewed anytime you click View Diagram in Delphi.

Mapping Editor

If you’re an existing Delphi Diagramming customer, you already have a library of function room and setup names. More than likely, some of these names won’t match the ones you’re using in Delphi. We’ve got you covered. With the new Mapping Editor in Delphi Diagramming, an administrator can map your function room and setup names in the two applications to ensure a seamless user experience. To open the Mapping Editor, click your name in the upper-right corner of Delphi Diagramming and then click Manage Mappings. You can toggle between mapping function rooms or setups using the drop-down arrow at the top of the page. It’s not a problem if one of your Delphi function rooms or setups gets overlooked during the mapping process. When you create a room plan for that event, Delphi Diagramming will prompt you to select an available function room or setup and automatically create the mapping for you.

Enhanced landscape printing

The full page width is used when room plans are printed in landscape mode.

Fixed issues

CR0127002, CR0127003, CR0127005: Delphi Diagramming’s performance has been improved when you save, share, or print very complex room plans.

CR0127073: You can now set room plans using the Theater seating style.
