Delphi Diagramming R11 release notes

Delphi Diagramming makes it easy for you to design professional room plans to help your customer truly visualize their event. Bring your tablet to onsite visits to create highly detailed and accurate room plans—and then watch your customer's vision come to life in 3D.

• Property Edition lets you create and organize room plans by booking and event. Design custom room plans and then collaborate and share with meeting planners.
• Website Edition lets you showcase your meeting space in a highly visual and interactive way on your property's website. It enables you to market your property with virtual tours and room capacities, making it easy for casual web site viewers to design and then share a room plan.

New features and enhancements

New thumbnail previews of room plans

Some room plans are incredibly complicated and you’ll spend hours collaborating with your customer in search of the perfect design. Differentiating between these various designs by the plan name can be challenging. With the new thumbnail preview feature in R11, your room plans can be visually represented in thumbnail images on the Events page. This makes it easy for you to quickly find a particular room plan without having to open each and every one. To display these thumbnail previews, click the new Thumbnail icon.

Automatically lay out rooms with exhibit booths

Automatic Layout Mode has a new Exhibit layout style that enables you to quickly set a room with exhibit booths. You can then use all the other Automatic Layout and Design Mode options to complete the room plan.

Change object dimensions on the fly

Design Mode now enables you to enter custom dimensions for any object in the current room plan. For example, your customer wants the room plan for their wedding to include a large head table that isn’t part of your resource library. You can accommodate this request by customizing the size of another head table that is in your library. Simply open the Object Properties window and select Custom on the Size menu to make the table’s dimensions editable. When you customize an object’s size in a room plan, your changes do not affect the object’s original dimensions in the resource library.

Configure an email address for the Get Quote button

In addition to opening a URL to a contact form, the Get Quote button in Delphi Diagramming Website Edition can now be configured to send an email addressed to your property.
