Delphi Diagramming Property is a cloud-based solution that enables properties to create room plans from any computer or tablet. Delphi Diagramming supports the way sales and catering professionals work by associating room plans to bookings and events and allowing you to present a variety of setup options during the event planning process. With its highly visual and interactive user interface, Delphi Diagramming makes it easy to create room plans that can be shared with meeting planners for review, feedback, and approval. Designed to fit the needs of properties of all sizes and functions, Delphi Diagramming will help you execute successful events and close more business.

New features and enhancements

Finding bookings

With Delphi Diagramming’s expanded search functionality, you can quickly find a booking by entering all or part of its name.

Enhanced design tools

Several new design tools have been added to the Design Mode tab to give you even greater control over your room plans. Using these tools you can:

• Easily grow rows of tables and chairs into a customized seating style.
• Save time by changing the attributes of multiple objects at once, such as table size or color, for areas of your room plan.
• Add detail to your setup with colors, labels, text, lines, and measurements.
• Specify the layers you want displayed and they are used while editing, sharing, printing, and exporting room plans.
• Customize the spacing of the grid lines in your room plans.
• Clear the room and create a brand new setup to accommodate truly unique requests.

Reusing common room setups

Do you have a certain room setups—for example, your ballroom wedding—that you use all the time? Now you can associate those common setups with any booking or event, saving you significant time since you no longer have to create each setup from scratch. Simply select the existing setup and tweak it to suit your client’s needs.

Additional information

The following are known issues in this release of the product:

• CR0121172, CR0121173: When you set up a room in Design Mode, translations are currently not available for the Category drop-down list and the object labels associated with a selected category. These translations will be available in a future release.
• CR0121727: The Media Gallery may fail to open full-sized images from thumbnails.
  Workaround: Upload those images again. Uppercase file extensions will be converted to lowercase when the image are uploaded.
• CR0121794: Booking names longer than 40 characters will overlap the date column.
  Workaround: Abbreviate or shorten the booking name to enable text to wrap.
• CR0121799: Delphi Diagramming currently does not set chairs around tables that have a smaller width (such as armed banquet chairs around a 2.5' table).
  Workaround: Manually place these chairs around the smaller table, and then use grow to make many of them.
• CR0121806: The measure tool currently does not snap to walls, just objects within the room. This will be addressed in a future release.
• CR0121899: In Firefox, pressing the BACKSPACE key while you're in Design Mode does not prompt you to save before it takes you back to the previous page.
• CR0121904: Due to limitations of Chrome, Delphi Diagramming is no longer able to support the use of .mov and .avi files in the Media Gallery.
  Workaround: You may continue to use video files in .flv format.
• CR0121905: Android tablets using the Chrome browser might notice missing letters on the label of the Clear Room icon.
  Workaround: Adjust your text scaling setting in Chrome (Settings > Accessibility) until the missing letters reappear.
• CR0121916: When zoomed in closely, you cannot move a group of objects.
  Workaround: Zoom out until the bounding box surrounding that group of objects becomes visible and then try again.
• CR0121917: Tablet users may find it difficult to edit small, single-character text.
  Workaround: Zoom in closely on the text for better accessibility. This issue will be addressed in a future release.
• CR0121918: In Firefox, clicking the Select Files link on the Upload CADs page doesn't open the Select File(s) for Upload window.
  Workaround: Drag and drop your CAD files into the "Upload CADs to the MeetingMatrix Fulfillment Team" section of the Upload CADs page. Your CAD files will upload.
• CR0121921: Colored risers are missing their diagonal line pattern when you print, export, or share your room plan.
