New features and enhancements
View room plans in 3D
Delphi Diagramming now enables you to view and present room plans in 3D. Click the new 3D button and walk through your event space to better visualize and perfect an event setup. Now it’s easy to tell if those seats in the back corner can really see the podium.
Because Delphi Diagramming’s 3D rendering might not match your physical space exactly, you can choose to display the following disclaimer on room plans: “The 3D view of this room does not reflect its actual appearance.” This feature is available in the Options Editor.
Copy booking
Do you frequently have bookings that repeat? If so, create one booking in its entirety, including its events and room plans, and use the new Copy button. On the Copy a Booking page, you can change the booking name, enter the new date, and choose to copy just the booking’s events or both its events and room plans.
Enhanced design tools
Several new design tools have been added to the Design Mode tab to give you even greater control over your room plans. Using these tools you can:
- Copy and paste objects and groups of objects from one room plan to another using the new clipboard menu.
- Send objects to the front or the back of the room plan, which is helpful when you have overlapping objects.
- Enter a rotation value or use the + and - buttons to precisely position your room plan objects.
Support for Microsoft Edge
Delphi Diagramming now supports Edge.
Additional languages available for Property Edition
Property Edition includes full support for Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. Simply choose your preferred language in My Profile.
Fixed issues
- The name of the function room now displays in a smaller font size in room plans.
Additional information
The following are known issues in this release of the product:
- Microsoft Edge prints the room plan and all of its surrounding toolbars, edit tools, and breadcrumbs.
Workaround: Use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari to print just your room plan. - If you are using Windows 10 and Edge, an email client (for example, Microsoft Outlook) is required to use Delphi Diagramming’s Contact Us link.
Workaround: If you use web-based email, use the Amadeus Support Portal instead to contact an Amadeus representative. - When you import a room setup with rotated objects from MeetingMatrix 2010, Delphi Diagramming stores rotation values differently while maintaining the correct display of the objects.
- A small number of MeetingMatrix 2010 objects do not render correctly in Delphi Diagramming’s new 3D view. This will be addressed in the next release.
