Delphi Diagramming makes it easy for you to design professional room plans to help your customer truly visualize their event. Bring your tablet to onsite visits to create highly detailed and accurate room plans—and then watch your customer's vision come to life in 3D.
- Property Edition lets you create and organize room plans by booking and event. Design custom room plans and then collaborate and share with meeting planners.
- Website Edition lets you showcase your meeting space in a highly visual and interactive way on your property's website. It enables you to market your property with virtual tours and room capacities, making it easy for casual web site viewers to design and then share a room plan.
New features and enhancements
Modify your Diagramming objects
Using the new Resources Editor, you can easily modify an object’s dimensions and description and indicate which objects are not regular inventory items. If you have multiple variations of a resource (for example, covered and uncovered banquet chairs), you can also specify which one is used as the default in Design Mode.
Customize aisles
Do you have a room plan that requires custom aisles? Automatic Mode now displays your default aisle settings and lets you override them for an individual room setup. Simply edit your perimeter aisles, center aisle, and cross-seating aisles, as needed.
Quickly number tables and chairs
Quickly number your tables and chairs using these new Design Mode features:
- The Number Stamping tool lets you assign a sequential number to each table or chair.
- When you need to clear your current numbering and start over, use Clear Numbers.
- You can now assign both a label and number to tables.
Arrange new sections of tables or chairs
Using the new Room Arrangement option in Design Mode, you can grow new sections of tables or chairs in a chevron (chairs only), staggered, or standard pattern.
User preference for unit of measure
My Profile now enables you to set Metric or Imperial units as your user preference for Delphi Diagramming.
Filters use grouping and color
Delphi Diagramming automatically organizes your booking filter conditions into groups, each with a unique color, making it easier to manage them.
Fixed issues
- You can now use the Capacity Editor to enter maximum capacities for non-enhanced room plans.
- CR0122228: Design Mode saves room plans when multi-line text overlaps an object.
Additional information
The following are known issues in this release of the product:
- The Grow tool removes the number assignments of your tables or chairs.
Workaround: Currently, numbering is not available with the Grow tool. After growing an object, use the Number Stamping tool to assign the appropriate numbering. - Microsoft Edge 20 users may experience performance issues with Delphi Diagramming.
Workaround: Upgrade to Edge 25 which is more responsive. - When you import a room plan that uses custom chair sizes, switch to a standard size, and then use Undo, you might experience Delphi Diagramming performance issues. This will be addressed in the next release.
-
When you clear your iPad's browser cache while Delphi Diagramming is open, your profile may default to English even if you originally had another language set.
Workaround: Log out and then log back in to Delphi Diagramming to return to your language preference. - Some iPad users with Apple iOS 9.3 are unable to log in to Delphi Diagramming.
Workaround: Upgrade to iOS 9.3.1.
