Archive data
Archive data is used to archive all reservations, group reservations (including banqueting data), and invoices from a specific year. To improve performance and part of the data retention features, APMA supports the ability to archive old data. The feature also removes old internal logging, such as the changes log. Archiving the data every few years helps the PMS performance.
Prerequisites

Users must have admin rights to archive old data.

GDPR initial purge must be completed.

Credit card retention settings must be set and executed in the night audit.
To archive data
- From the home page, select Extra, hover over Archive, and then click Archive data. The archive page displays.

Select the year that needs to be archived and click Confirm (
).
When the selected year is archived successfully, it displays in the page.
Archiving data might be time-consuming, so it is recommended not to use this feature on a front office workstation.
