Create service orders
Many options for creating a service order have been automated for you. Issues have already been assigned a default priority and business rules ensure the order is routed to the correct staff or team. You only need to specify the issue and room or equipment.
To create a service order
- Select the room or equipment using one of the following:
- Click to the right of Room/Equipment and scroll through the list. Click to select.
- Enter full or partial keyword and select from the resulting list.

- Select the issue using one of the following:
- Scroll through the available list. Click to the right of an issues to select the issue or amenity and move it to the Selected column.
- Enter issue keyword, full or partial, in Available search, then click to the right of the Issue to move it to the Selected column.
- Once in the Selected column changes can be made and or remarks added. If amenities are selected, you can adjust the quantity.
If more than one issue is reported, continue using one of the above methods until all issues are included.
A maximum of 20 issues or amenities can be selected per order.

- Select the issue using one of the following:
- Click to the right of the Issues. Scroll through the list to find the issue. Click to select.
- Enter a few letters of a keyword and select from the resulting list.
Select only one issue for multiple rooms, locations, or equipment.
- Click .
- Select the room or equipment using one of the following:
- Enter room or equipment keyword, full or partial, in Available search, then click to the right to move it to the Selected column.
- Scroll through the available list. Click to the right of a room or equipment to move it to the Selected column.
- In the Available column, select to the left of all rooms or equipment to be included. Then click in the bar at the bottom of the page to move to the Selected column.
- Once in the Selected column, add remarks if necessary.
A maximum of 20 orders can be created.
- Click .
Review orders to be created.
Additional actions:
- Change Priority.

Add a Remark.
Use these additional actions as needed. Make selection from the bar at the bottom of the order:
- Assign to a user or team.
- Add Parts.
- Defer to a future date and/or time.
- Set Recurring.
- Schedule Follow Up. This is in addition to Set Follow Up business rules.
- Add Attachments.
- Click Resolved toggle on guest orders.
- Change Requestor
When creating multiple orders, that is for the same location or a single order for multiple rooms or locations, you have the option to select actions with each order individually, select more than one order, or click Select All. Choose actions from the bar at the bottom of the screen:
- Assign to a user or team.
- Add Parts.
- Bulk Remarks
- Defer to a future date and/or time.
- Set Recurring.
- Mark as Resolved
- Schedule Follow Up. This is in addition to Set Follow Up business rules.
- Add Attachments.
- Change Requestor
Follow management guidelines when making selections.

Follow management guidelines when making selections.

Transportation orders need two locations. The Origin or pick-up location, and the Destination or delivery location. Package or luggage pickup and delivery are most common. Transportation orders may include shuttle services for guests inside and outside the property.
- Enter the Room or Equipment. Enter a keyword and select from the list. The selection becomes the Origin location.
- Click
- To select the transportation issue enter the issue keyword (full or partial) in Available search.
- Click to the right of the Issue to move it to the Selected column.

In the Selected column, enter Destination location.
- Click
- Review the order.
- Click to save.
