Service order attachments
Sometimes a photo is the easiest way to provide additional information about a service order. HotSOS lets you attach up to 6 photos (or 10 MB) to a single service order. A single photo can be attached to each step in a PM order or inspection (not to exceed 6 photos for the entire service order).
View the attachments on a service order
- On the Service Orders List screen, tap the service order to open it.
- The Attachments section indicates the number of photos that have been attached to the service order. Tap the section to open it.
- Tap an image to open it, delete it, or download it to your device.
Attachments can only be deleted by the person who added them or a Unit Personnel Manager.
Add an attachment to an existing service order
- On the Service Orders List screen, tap the service order to open it.
- Do one of the following:
- Tap Add and select Add Attachment.
- Tap the Attachments section to open it and tap Add .
- Take a photo.
- Confirm that you want to attach the photo.
Add an attachment to a new service order
- After you select the Location and Issue on the Create Service Order screen, tap Attachment.
- Take a photo.
- Confirm that you want to attach the photo.
Delete an attachment
Attachments can be deleted by the person who added them or a Unit Personnel Manager.
- On the Service Orders List screen, tap the service order to open it.
- Tap the Attachments section.
- Do one of the following:
- Tap on the photo.
- Open the photo and tap Delete .
- Tap .
