Pull and release service orders
Add service orders to My Work by pulling them from other workspaces. If you can't complete a service order, you can release it so that another team member can work on it.
The Pull/Release icon next to each service order indicates whether or not the service order is assigned to someone:
- The service order is currently unassigned and can be pulled into My Work.
- Another user has already pulled the service order into their workspace. The name of the user is displayed on the right side of the service order.
- The service order is assigned to you and is also displayed in My Work.
To pull or release a service order
- At the bottom of the service orders list, tap Workspace .
- Tap a workspace to select it.
- Do one of the following:
- Tap next to an unassigned service order to pull it into your workspace. The icon changes to and your name is displayed on the service order.
- Tap next to the service order you want to release from your workspace. The icon changes to to indicate it's no longer assigned to someone. The service order maintains its current status. If the service order was stopped, the next person who takes it over must change its status to Start again.
You can also start a service order directly from the workspace. This automatically assigns the service order to you and pulls it into your workspace.
