Add an inquiry to an existing booking using multi-link

Using the multi-link feature, you can link multiple inquiries to a booking so that all parties receive business data updates. For example, on Monday you receive an inquiry from Cvent and convert it to a booking. The next day, you receive another inquiry from a National Sales Manager for the same piece of business. Linking both inquiries to the booking will send business data updates back to each channel.

The Inquiries section of the Booking page displays all the inquiries that are linked to the booking. The inquiry that was used to create the booking is initially designated as the primary inquiry. You can always select a different inquiry to be the primary. As long as an inquiry is linked to a booking, business data updates are sent to MeetingBroker.

To link multiple inquiries to a booking

  1. Create a booking from an inquiry.

The inquiry is displayed in the Primary Inquiry field and the Inquiries section of the booking. Its MeetingBroker RFP ID and RFP Status are also displayed.

  2. Open the next inquiry and go to the Booking section.
  3. Click Link Booking.

The New Booking Inquiry page opens.

  4. Select the booking in the Booking field, then click Save.

The second inquiry is now displayed in the Inquiries section of the booking along with the first inquiry.

You can also link an inquiry to a booking from the Booking page. In the Inquiries section, click Link Inquiry to open the New Booking Inquiry page. Select the inquiry in the Inquiry field, then click Save.

  1. To designate a different inquiry as the primary, select its check box and click Make Primary.
