Daily Transactions report
The content of this page is specific to the Delphi product type only. If you are using the Delphi Core product type and want to learn more about the Delphi product type, contact your sales representative.
The Daily Transactions report displays a detailed list of booking activity for a day or date range. The report includes basic booking details including the status and arrival date. The information that was changed, along with who made the update, also displays on this report. This report is useful for identifying inconsistencies in the data. For example, if a tentative booking moves dates and affects your forecast for the month, use this report to explain the revenue shift.
This report displays a breakdown by day of new bookings, updated bookings, and lost or cancelled business. If the change affected revenue, the difference displays as a percentage. Click the booking abbreviation to open the booking and review more details.
You can use the Daily Transactions report to:
-
Identify bookings with unusual changes in status, occupancy, or revenue.
-
Distribute communication of any changes made to bookings and room blocks. This is helpful for properties that do not have an interface with a Property Management System.
-
Find revenue that has moved from one month to another in your forecast.

The following information displays for each booking. Changes are listed in chronological order from the oldest to the most recent date.
Each booking is first summarized with the current details including status, booking owner, the user that last modified the booking, arrival and departure dates, and booking blended revenue total.
New Bookings This section displays the bookings created within the activity date range. Updated Bookings This section displays the bookings that were modified in any of the following ways: A date change
A status upgrade
A revenue change
An attendance change
An owner change
For guestroom details, the changes are sorted by date to see updates to the total occupancy and average rate per day.
Changed Value: This is the name of the field that was modified. The Modified By row displays the user who made the change. Previous Value: This is the value on the date before it was changed. For example, a booking changed status on April 9 to tentative and then on April 10 to definite. When the report is run for the activity date of April 9, the previous value shows as prospect. When the report is run for April 10, the previous value shows as tentative. Current Value: This is the updated value of the field. % Change: This is the percentage increase or decrease for changes related to revenue or occupancy (Current Value - Previous Value / Previous Value x 100). Percentages are not calculated if the previous value was 0. Bookings that have been both created and modified during the activity date range display in both the New Bookings and Updated Bookings sections. For example, a booking is created for June and then the arrival date is changed to July later the same day. The report shows the booking was created in the New Bookings section and the change of arrival date displays in the Updated Bookings section.
Cancelled/TurnedDown/Lost Bookings This section displays the bookings that have changed status to Cancelled, TurnedDown, or Lost. The previous status is followed by the current status. Deleted Bookings This section displays the bookings that were deleted. Clicking on the booking abbreviation does not open the booking if it is in the Recycle Bin, or permanently deleted. To review more details about a deleted booking, first recover it from the Recycle Bin.
