Delete taxes
The information in this topic applies to non-enhanced taxes. To learn about enhanced taxes, refer to Overview: Enhanced taxes.
Before you delete a tax, consider the following:
- When you delete a tax from a property, it is removed from its tax group and can no longer be used to calculate banquet check charges.
- You must be an administrator to delete a tax.
- Users cannot modify taxes when they create a booking event. Changes can only be made in the Property page.
To delete a tax
- Do one of the following:
- In the Taxes section of the Property page, click Delete next to the tax.
- On the Tax page, click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
