Create terms and conditions
The content of this page is specific to the Delphi product type only. If you are using the Delphi Core product type and want to learn more about the Delphi product type, contact your sales representative.
You can define various terms and conditions for different services provided at your property. Your users can then add the terms and conditions to bookings and contracts.
Terms and conditions are created on the property level and are available only to bookings at the same property.
To create terms and conditions
- Open the property, navigate to the Terms and Conditions section, and click New.
- Indicate whether the terms and conditions can be edited on the booking by selecting Allow Editing or Restrict Editing. The New Terms and Conditions page opens.
- Complete the fields on this page, as needed.
Field Description Information Name This is the internal name of the terms and conditions clause. Sort Order This controls the order that the terms and conditions clauses display. Booking Default When selected, the terms and conditions clause is automatically added to new bookings created at the property. When cleared, the user can choose to manually add the clause to the booking. Category This indicates the section where the terms and conditions clause displays on the contract: General, Guestroom, or Event. Property This is the name of the property where the terms and conditions apply. Active When selected, the terms and conditions clause is active and available to users. When cleared, it no longer displays in lists for selection. Record Type This indicates whether the terms and conditions can be edited on the booking. Terms Terms This is a rich-text description of the terms and conditions clause to show on documents. Use the formatting toolbar to customize the appearance of the text on contracts. - Click Save.
