Manage autotraces
This feature is available with version R51 and higher.
To save you from manually creating a standard set of tasks, Delphi can automatically create the activities your property needs to stay on track with managing inquiries and bookings. These automatic tasks are called Autotraces.
When configured, tasks can be generated for the right people, on the right dates, with minimal effort needed by your users. Before you activate an autotrace, you might need to customize it based on how your property operates.
To edit and activate an autotrace

Navigate to the Property page and click Manage Autotraces. The Manage Autotraces page displays.

Identify the autotrace you want to activate. Do one of the following:

To activate the autotrace as it is written, proceed to step 4.

To customize the autotrace to match your property's standards, click Edit (
). Modify the fields on this page as appropriate.Autotrace details Object
This is the object of the autotrace, for example, booking, inquiry, or deposit. In addition to the object name, this field displays either Before or After. This indicates whether the autotrace is to be triggered before or after the Based On field.
For example, a Booking (Before) object, with a Based On value of Decision Date, triggers an autotrace on the booking object a specific number of days before the decision due date.
No. of Days Enter the number of days before or after the Based On field for the autotrace to trigger. Based On Select the system date to trigger the autotrace, for example, Decision Date, Today's Date, or Departure Date. Status
Select which booking status to include in the autotrace: Tentative, Prospect, or Definite.
This applies to autotraces on the booking object only.
Applied To
Select which Booking Types and Market Segments to include in the autotrace.
This applies to autotraces on the booking object only.
Notify Select the booking role to assign the autotrace to. Activity Type Select the type of activity for the autotrace to create, for example, Call or Follow-up. Subject If applicable, edit the title of the activity to be created. Active This indicates whether the autotrace is enabled.

Do one of the following:
- Click Save (
) to save your changes. - Click Cancel (
) to discard your changes.

To activate the autotrace, select the Active checkbox.

Repeat the above steps for any additional autotraces.
