Media
This page applies to Website Edition only.
You can use the Media page to build your gallery of photos, videos, and virtual tours. You can also include captions to describe the visuals in any language your property supports.
After you add content to your media library, you can choose the first image your customers see when visiting your website. You can also decide which images to feature on the home page. The files can be linked to specific locations on your area map to best represent your property.
To access this page, in the navigation menu (), select Website and then click Media. If you have access to more than one property, select the Property to work with.
What do you want to do?

To filter the media library, click the Media Type drop-down list and select the checkbox next to each media type to display: Photos, Videos, or Virtual Tours.

Click Apply.
To remove a media type, click the X next to the media filter.

Select a file.
-
Click Add to Featured Photos (
).

Select a file.
-
Click Delete (
).

Confirm the deletion.

Select a file.
-
Click Assign as Property Image (
).

Select a file.

Update the customer-facing caption in the language fields on the right side of the page.
If the media file is linked to a property location, the linked locations display. If necessary, use the Content page to edit this information.

Click Save (
).

Click Preview (
). The Preview window displays.

Select Photos, Videos, or Virtual Tours.

Click each file and review the caption that displays below.

- Drag the media file to the appropriate position.
- Click Save (
). Changes to the media order are updated in the online gallery.

Select a file.

Click Remove from Featured Photos (
).

Previously uploaded SWF and FLV files are no longer supported by Adobe Flash player. Videos and virtual tours in these file types cannot display to customers visiting your website and need to be replaced with files in a supported format.
Replace the files by following the steps below.

Select a file.

Click Preview Video or Preview Virtual Tour (
) , and verify the file plays without error.

If the file does not play due to an unsupported format, click Delete (
) in the upper right corner of the thumbnail. Then, upload the new file as usual.

Click Save (
).

If the original file displays on your area map, you also need to update Linked Media in Content.

- Click Add Media (
). The Media Upload page displays.
- Click Add (
) next to the media type to add.

Browse to and select the applicable files. To select multiple files, hold CTRL and click each file. The following file formats can be uploaded:

Photos - JPG, GIF, PNG

Videos - MP4, OGG, WebM

Virtual Tours - JPG or PNG
If adding a virtual tour, click Panoramic or Spherical. In a panoramic virtual tour, users can look left and right. In a spherical virtual tour users can look left, right, up, and down.

Repeat steps 2-3 for any additional media types.
- Click Upload All to add the files to your media library. When the upload is complete the Media page displays.
To remove a file from the list, click Remove (
) next to the file name.
- For each added file, click the file and enter a customer-facing caption in the language fields on the right side of the page.
Amadeus recommends entering a caption for all media files to help identify them in the future.
