Edit content
The Content Editor is used with Website Edition.
The Content Editor is where you enter translated text for your property's campus map, buildings, floors, and event spaces. You can also link media (images, videos, and virtual tours) to specific areas. When you're finished, see how your changes look by clicking Preview . The URL displayed at the top of the Preview window is how visitors can access your Delphi Diagramming website.
The Content Editor is divided into three sections:
- Navigation pane - On the left, the navigation pane displays your meeting rooms and highlights (restaurants, guestrooms, business centers, tennis courts, pools, etc.).
- Name and Description fields - On the right, name and description fields are available for each language that is set to Edit Mode or Published in the Options Editor. The Names field allows you to enter a translated name for your property's meeting rooms and highlights. The Descriptions field lets you provide website viewers with a translated description of the meeting room they're viewing. Users can select their preferred language, from the options menu ≡ on your Delphi Diagramming Website home page.
- Linked Media - At the bottom of the page, the Linked Media area lets you select an unlimited number of images, videos, and virtual tours for meeting rooms and highlights.
The meeting rooms and highlights in the navigation pane are from the diagrams that were created during your initial implementation. To change a default name, use the English Names field (default display language is English).
- From the Content Management Home page, click Editors and then Content.
The Content Editor opens.
- In the navigation pane, select a space at your property.
- For each language you are supporting, enter a translated name for that space in the Names field.
If a language you need isn't displayed, set it to Edit Mode in the Options Editor.
- If applicable, enter a translated description for meeting rooms (description are not available for the area map, buildings, and floors/levels).
- Click Save .
To help your customers really get a feel for your property, photos, videos, and virtual tours can be linked to locations in your area map. Then, when a customer views the details of a location, they'll be shown visual content that you decided is relevant to the space.
- From the Content Management Home page, click Editors and then Content Editor.
- In the navigation pane, select a meeting room or highlight an area at your property.
Media cannot be associated with the top-level Area Map, individual buildings, or floors/levels.
- At the bottom of the Content Editor page, click Link Media.
- Select the media file (image, video, or virtual tour) that you want to show when website visitors view that space. If the media file is already linked, the areas it's associated to will display in the right side of the window.
- Click Link.
- To link more than one file, repeat steps 2- 3. You can link as many as you would like to.
- When finished, click Done.
- Click Save .
If the media file you need isn't displayed, you need to upload it to the Media Editor. Use the Media Editor to enter captions for your media in the languages selected in the Options Editor.
