Undo checkout for a group

Have you made a mistake during checkout, or checked out the wrong group? You can use the Undo Checkout feature to return the checked-out reservation back to the in-house status. There are two ways to undo the checkout for a group. You can undo checkout for the whole group and this refers to the group master folio and effects the individual group member status. Or, you can undo checkout for the individual reservations attached to the group.

Prerequisites

To undo a checkout for a group

  1. From the Home Page, do one of the following to open the group checked out list.
    • Press SHIFT+CTRL+U on your keyboard.

    • Click the Front desk menu in your top bar and select Group checked out.

  2. The Seek page displays.

    To view the full list of all departed groups for today, leave all fields empty except the depart date.

  3. Enter the depart date.
  4. Do one of the following: 

    • Click Confirm () to complete your search.

    • Click Cancel () to discard your search.

  5. Do one of the following to display the checked out group reservation:
    • Select the appropriate reservation and click Confirm ().

    • Double-click the appropriate reservation.

  6. Click the Undo check out () icon to undo the check-out. A PMS message displays asking to undo the check-out for the group.
  7. Click Ok to change the group reservation back to in-house. Another PMS message displays, asking to re-check in the individual reservations for the group.
  8. Do one of the following: 
    • Click Yes to return the individuals for the group to the in-house status.

    • Click No to discard your changes.
