Delete guest message
You have created a guest message in the wrong reservation and would like to remove it.
To delete a guest message
- From the home page, do one of the following to open the Seek page:
Press CTRL+F on your keyboard.
Click the front desk menu in the top bar and click Locate guest.
Click the Locate guest button (
) from the in-house navigation menu.

Modify the search fields as appropriate.
Seek details Number
Enter the unique confirmation number of the reservation.
Name
Enter the last name of the guest, company name or travel agent name.
Days in advance
Enter the number of days to search.
The search can be up to 7 days. If 7 is entered, the system searches 7 days forward and 7 days back from current day.
- Click Confirm (
). A browse locate guest page displays with the searched guest information.
- Do one of the following to open the appropriate reservation page:
Select the reservation and click Confirm (
).
Double-click the reservation.
- Click the Tools icon (
) in the reservation and select Guest messages. The Guest message page displays.
- Select the message and click the Delete icon (
). A warning message displays asking to delete the current record.
- Do one of the following:
Click Yes to complete.
Click No to discard.
- When confirmed, the message is deleted.
New messages have an N status. Printed messages have a P status. Deleted messages have an X status.
The message icon () is visible in the top bar of the reservation when guest messages are attached.
